Still looking for a current rating, but it does state it can take 12AWG (3.0mm) so should be ok for 2.5mm

Quickest way would be to just bell this wire out for continuity.

why? 1 leg of a RFC will never carry >20A. in fact, i think they might be 24A, but too busy opening beers to check.

Possibly with another blown fuse. Or the fault is blowing the fuse!?
