I've been trying to get through for two days now but finally been told that the reason everyone is in meetings all day is.... "umm, we've got the auditors in at the moment so we're a bit busy to answer calls!"
I'm afraid I couldn't resist the phrase referring to the act of tasting medicine that you usually dish out, the phone line was dropped fairly quickly at that point.
They've just sent me an action point list from their audit of 23 March 2012! Among other things was the warning that I have to produce a document showing how we monitor the employees of Solar Guide and Yougen (who provide some leads for us) to ensure they are not breaking the REAL code. Honestly, how is a small company expected to police something like that. I can see how they need to keep the sharks from doing all the dirty work outside the REAL framework by setting up a separate lead generator company but I've reviewed the sites of Solar Guide and Yougen and I know they're legit companies but apparently that's not enough.
