it was still in use, on rewireable fuse, my job there was to prepare new electrics for new kitchen.Unbelievable ! Surely that DP switch is redundant ??
Is that an armoured ? LolCame across a garden lighting install today with a few issues. How about this for an easy way to terminate the SWA, saves all that messing about with metal boxes and banjos or piranhas!

Is that a 1mm from the top of the socket ?
or more likely it was wired by a muppet in first fix and by the time second fix came along it was too late lolThat sounds fairly typical, seen 1mm 3 core/earth used fairly often for sockets , is it because it's similar to 2.5mm in external dimensions to the DIY 'experts'. :icon12:
is it IP rated ?
Absolutely. It'll be IP00 or, if the 'enclosure' has been positioned correctly, IP01.
Some people are committed to proving that they are complete idiots.
Its obviously fan assisted.Spotted this on an Eicr a couple of weeks ago!! How not to get a water pipe into a porta kabin.
That is just worrying :nonod:To be fair I i didnt entertain looking inside to confirmhow many cores Dave OCD. I was looking at this after a boiler house refurb that made me chuckle.

It has been done with such precision, the labels are neat and readable, the clamp looks tight, the bonding cable cores are continuous and then... they missed the pipes!
It could be the camera flash, but is that one white one and three chrome ones ?
