Hello all

I completed my apprenticeship last December using JTL, my employer had to pay all the fees because at the time I was 26. I’ve been waiting for my apprenticeship completion certificate since, so I phoned JTL the other day and I was told that because my apprenticeship was privately funded I would not be getting the certificate (I think they called it a Summit Skills certificate?).

Is this the case for anybody else who had their apprenticeship privately funded, because I’m a little bit disappointed. I would be nice to have proof that I completed an apprenticeship.

I never got a certificate to say I completed my apprenticeship from JTL, but did get an electricians cert from city and guilds. AM2 cert, and completion diploma from the JIB back in 1996.

isnt it you who has to pay the fees with JTL if your over 23? and doesnt a 2357 certificate show that you have done a apprenticeship?
