They are ok on thermalite / breeze block or soft brick, they will do concrete blocks just take a tad longer, as for hard/engineer bricks forget it & stick to the bolster & scutch.
They also create alot of dust so I only use mine on newbuilds or extensions.
Mmmm, not so sure about these. The ones I have used have tended to break long before they have paid for themselves. Saying that though, I guess they would be usefull on new builds where thermalites have been used. (Carefull you don't find yourself in the cavity by accid.) But on thermalites you may as well just use your finger nails.
I've heard there generally good, and can save ya bit of time. It all comes down to wat you prefer doesnt it? people like wire strippers and others like to use side cutters!!
