soooo, Me and James thought we would upgrade our Van tube from the Good old 4" black waste pipe to 2 Van Guard Tubes (a 3m 1 and a 2m 1).......

Wish I'd never of bothered now, what an absolute nightmare they were to fit. It basically took 2 and a half hours to tighten 10 Nuts. So, If you have a van and the roof rack is fairly close to the roof (about an inch off it) and you buy these....dont start the Job at half 6 at night, because u will get cold. Also make sure u have a 10mm Ratchet spanner. Which i didnt have until i sent my dad off shopping to halfords for 1.

Do a James May (Top Gear):
Two hours setting out you're tools in the correct order.
Half an hour doing the job.
Three hours putting it right!

Just a thought, how easy would it be to take off the roof rack and steal both tubes?

If easy, what is your address? Lol

Quite difficult, but it will be even more difficult to get away with 2 smashed knee caps before the police arrive :) lol
