Sparky Ninja - Mentor Arms Jul 4, 2010 #2 You'll need a gs38 tester and possibly a proving unit. Also depending on the testing, you may want to buy an R2 lead as well. I'm not sure if the megger carries out phase rotation or not? I also carry with my kt64, a megger dcm 330, a megger dcm 310 clamp meter, and a socket and see fuse finder. Oh and welcome along to the forums Last edited: Jul 4, 2010

G Guest123 Jul 4, 2010 #4 Well, the 1553 will complete all the required tests needed on the initial verification or periodic inspection of an electrical installation. Perhaps a phase rotation meter and a decent voltage/continuity tester for everyday use would also be handy.
