just to say hello i have just passed my 17th edition,pat testing,eal part p and city and guild building regs and next i am going to set up on my own eventually i want to take the inspection and testing i have beeninvolved in electrical installation work since 1986 when i was a apprentice but quit after a year i decided recently that to get anywhere from now on i would need qualifications so i paid for a private course if anybody can give me advice on setting up and whats involved like useful literature and things i will need to be able to register with a competent person scheme would be grateful

cheers dave i already have a few of these books ie regs,osgcode of practice andscaddons wiring regs do i need to buy a copy of electricity at work regulations 1889 its going to be a long road to setting up and getting registered and approved thanks for links to books
