Hi

I recently quoted for the fitting of 2 outside lights and have carried out first fix all cables run to position etc.

On going back to fit the lights (customer supplied) they are low voltage which means I now have to uplift carpets, floorboards etc to fit trannys etc.

My question is - can I use my existing newly installed T&E for the output LV supply side to the lights or do I need to re-run LV cable to the lights?

Thanks

Eh? Why do you have to fit trannys to LV?

EDIT: Sorry, hangover, I take it you mean ELV? Don't see any reason why you can't use the existing cable coming from the tranny, provided you can fit it in there!

Double edit: As long as you aren't going to compromise any seals on the lights by doing so, and the manufaturer instructions don't tell you not to.
