Hello.
So I've learned a lot about dimmers on this last job. The customer wanted everything downstairs on dimmers and boy has it been a learning curve.
I've split a lighting circuit and the customer has asked for 2 x st64 led bulbs on pendants to be put on a dimmer. The problem is they're flickering on some settings of the dimmer.
They're pulling about 10w
And the dimmer is rated at 60-400va which I believe kind of translates to 60-400w (but not true power)
So I think the issue is because they are below the minimum required load for the dimmer.
The bulbs are dimmable.
Does anyone know if you can get dimmers rated lower than the one I have list above.
Or will I need to put them on a dimmable led drive?

Yes, you need a LED compatible dimmer.
Google Varilight V-pro.
They are the dogs whotsits.

I'll second that recommendation

turd third it.

Varilight is what I use, although Kew Electrical do one not sure brand that works too, but similar price, an alternative option that I've recently discovered, all screwfix dimmers appear to be compatible with dimmable led lamps,

Just ensure you get the 0W - 100W Varilight V-Pro version, not the 10W-300W

Always check on the dimmer manf. website to see what lamps/fittings/drivers it has been tested with otherwise it's pot luck and even intermittent faults can occur for no logical reason. Oscilloscope on circuit All becomes clear.

Guys thank you all for your help.
I went with the majority and used varilight v pro's and I think it's safe to say I won't be using any other dimmer modules in future. They're the dogs nuts.
I had a callout back to the job because one of the aroura2 dimmers started buzzing so I've swapped that over too. And they're super silent.
