Could someone who uses this software tell me what the Rated Time Delay box is for when filling out the Main switch/ Switch-Fuse/ Circuit-breaker/ RCD section of an EIC?

Is it for the recommend range in which a time delayed rcd should trip 130 - 500ms... or is it something else?

yes it is but what is rated time delay, am I correct in putting the required trip time of an 100a 100ma s type rcd main switch in that box....who knows.

I could be a million miles off, but I thought if you have a 100ms time delayed RCD then that's what you would put?

there is no such thing as a 100ms time delayed rcd.

rcd's have ln rated current and IdeltaN RCD operating current.

I think I will put 130-500 which is the range within the rcd should operate....

Sorry dude, now I know :) Think 130-500 is what it says in that other thread I linked to though.
