R1/R2 leads ..Whys so expensive ?

Mine went walk about last week. Quick look on ebay and I had to double check i was not seeing things ! Bloody expensive little leads they are .

Still not cheap, but about the best on there in terms of price & quality. I have these and they're well put together...

Keep a bit of good quality cable such as the cut off part of the neutral fly lead on an rcbo. Couple of croc clips and shrouds.on ebay for few quid and solder.your own together

Agree with the above I absolutely no idea why someone would pay ridiculous amounts for a simple thing we are supposed to be technical people are we not.

You can buy suitable safety plugs at 'reasonable' price to make up your own leads, main advantage is you can choose length, etc, to suit:

You'd think you would at least get harmonized cable colours at that price!

Most lab supplies still use red = +V, black = 0V, blue = -V, green = supply GND, etc.

But it is an oddity they don't offer at least brown.

Ha Ha you done it as well DD with your old meters, with the crude croc clips
