3 core and earth used in ring

socket ring wired in 3 core and earth - seems to be 2.5mm in old colors - the third core is blocked at each end. do sockets have to be in 2 core and earth or not? As the ring is being extended is this all going to be have to taken out.

No..................................seems like that was what was on the van at the time.

Just make sure it's a RFC and that the IR results are good

they rewired two socket rings like it .... oh well that's cool that it is ok - thanks for your help once again

unsual to see 2.5 3 core and earth- make sure it is 2.5 and not 1.5 mate
