Hi guys,

I have booked an assesment - getting the wheel in motion to go it alone as I was laid off - But am second guessing one of my site examples. Its a new ring in my own home, and I had put a socket behind a wall mounted tv.

Do the registering bodies prefer these '' hidden''sockets to be on a fused spur, at normal height?

Cheers.

You will have no problem with the hidden socket as it is only hidden from view. As long as your install is safe and accessible there will be no problem. Even if he wasn't happy with it you would only be advised as to what you should have done. These assessors aren't out to catch you out, they want to help. Just remember the scheme providers want you're money more than you want them.

Cheers.......Howard
