Hello Everyone,

Please find attached a little test of logic.

One of our Engineers sent it my way and i'll be honest with you.............i'm yet to meet anyone (except the engineer) who can solve the problem correctly.

I will be impressed with anyone who finds the solution.

Best of luck

if i am interpreting your answer correctly, i think u will find that all lights will be illuminated when not in position 4 also.

This is not correct.

unless you wish to advise me otherwise.

My head was hurting before I looked at the pdf, it's hurting worse now.

Can you have one switch with a neutral on the common connection and the other switch with a live on the common or is that against the rules (or regs)?

What about using SW1/4 and SW2/4 connected to a wire (wrapped around the other wires) to cause induced current - dont think it would light up the lamps enough though - the only way I can think about doing this would be using Diodes (DC) or relays as said above
