Estimating software

Hi all

Is anybody on here using Electrika software for there estimating?

if so would you recommend it?

I would like to start using software for estimating but do not want to spend the time learning it if its rubbish and there is a better one to use.

i have used it but found it hard to use ,you have to get update from you whole saler with their discounts still havent worked it out yet

i just list materials ect work out times add all together
job done just need to keep a check on flutuating prices

Tried that as well and just could not be bothered with it. I use sage acct plus now much easier.

I found this thread whilst posting in another thread. I did use elektrika but getting prices was such a hassle and a long winded process, I ended up with the ***, 200,000 item prices and kept up to date weekly automatically, it's not free but then again it saves me so much time when estimating and billing.

On another point, I use Sage for my accounts and that's not a bad piece of software
