I want to become an electrician while still working, how do I do this, what will it pos cost in total and where do I start, I'm in the building game and 42 yrs old

i don't want to start a course with a training company that goes bust half way through

You will need to find a training provider that can do courses in an evening. Speak to them, and see what they can offer. I know of several providers who deliver PEO electrical pathway (that is performing engineering operations) on an evening 6 till about 9pm. Unfortunately for you travelling up to Yorkshire one evening a week is not practical, but there will be a college in your area who does it.

No one wants to go to a training provider that is going to go bust halfway through your course, so without the benefit of a crystal ball, you will have to research training providers local to you, and see what their reputation is like, and how long they have been in business.

Cheers.............Howard
