hi,
my name is nick.
i am currently a panel wireman,
i have an NVQ level 3 in electrical
a level 2 BTEC in electrical and elctronics
a level 3 BTEC national cert in electrical and electronics
aswell as PEO and Key skills units.

im curious to know what other qualification i would need to become a domestic electrician.
and if there are any vacancies around the north east of england.

any help will be greatly appreciated.

thanks

Probably none..

Although most schemes will want 2382 17th edition within 12 months of joining.

Give the schemes a ring... They're normally pretty helpful.

NICEIC - 0870 013 0382 (I have got the non premium number somewhere.. Will dig it out)
Elecsa - 0845 634 9043
NAPIT - 0845 543 0330

BSI - 08450 765600
I'm sure I read somewhere BSI is about £1500 all in... (Please correct if I'm wrong)

Hope this helps

He would be limited to Part P work alone via Napit and must have gained the 2382 within 12 months or he is a gonner.... Basically defined scope. He must pass their on-site assessment.

For Full scope membership. Either level 3 part 2, NVQ3 OR RECOGNISED APPRENTISHIP. Plus 2382 17th edition. To stay on full scope he must pass 2391 within 12 months...
