Installing one new ring to cu, do you just have to do full tests on new ring , or on all circuits and board if so how far do you go for eic cert

all replys welcome cheers

test your circuit .
use a full cert but make a note that other circuits were installed by others.
youll need the ze /psc ...check adequacy of the bonding ...etc
if you find a problem ,tell the client .

Cheers Wayne,

Thats WHY I INSTALLED a new ring for refit in kitchen, because one ring was covering whole of house, upgraded meb 16mm,10mm,10mm
I just wasnt 100% if i had to test the lot

cheers again

well the EIC is for a new installation/new circuit (as you know)

your new circuit is a ring main

if that is all that is listed on the schedule of test results, then that is all you have tested, and thats fine;)

Hi SHAKEY

WOULDNT YOU HAVE TO MARK DOWN THE OTHER CIRCUITS JUST TO SHOW WHATS ON THE BOARD, OR JUST LEAVE IT TO THE ONE YOU HAVE INSTALLED

what i do is make a note of how many ways (in case someone changes the db )
as for the rest ,without investigation how could you be sure where they go ?
