Hello all. I hope your well.

I've seen a lot of rental properties when the oven main switch is over the over and with the 300mm of it. My question is if the switch is over the oven still and the house is rented out to new tenants is that still aloud by law or does it have to be changed?

many thanks in advance

I see no problem with it being above an oven.

However if it is above a hob then it goes against all common sense.

And then if it is above a hob and incorporates a socket outlet then i'd go so far as to say it's going to be assisting in Darwinian evolution at some point in time!
