Hello Electricians!
I have a gasoline powered portable generator with 220v 1700w output and wonder how I would go about powering an 20v 800w electric scooter with this.
I guess it won't be enough to just hook it up to the charger as the batteries will drain faster than they recharge, so I was thinking about hooking it up directly, but unsure how to deal with the voltage difference. Any suggestions?

Presumably you already have a mains charger for the scooter? If so then plug this in to the generator.
