Talking about Radials is there a quick calc re volt drop simular to what is used in a ring

ie 4 x max vd x 1000 / ib x mV/A/M
 
VD = (mV/A/m) x (I x L) /1000 . the factor of 4 is only used on a ring as it's a. half the length. b. 2 cables in parallel.

Think you 'll find it on Table 8A page 158 of the on site guide its classed as an A3 radial max floor area served 50 square meters , you may well find that over the next few years the ring could be phased out always loads of talk about it , so your circuits at the mo are A1 which is your ring A2 radial which is 4 mm cable protected by a 32/30 amp fuse mcb and as mentioned the A2 radial

Thanks having one of those blank moments.

Just thinking that with a 20 A mcb useing 50m(area 50 sq m) the lowest vd on 2.5 would be over 11.5v
But it a radial and all the ccts in theory is not going to be fully loaded all the time .
 
Unlikely that the RFC will be phased out, anytime soon. Not with the price of copper as it is.
