I love having my trousers pulled down by B&Q when I get caught short on a job at night lol

Everyone here seems to use a bag made buy dexter inc me its great and costs around 22 euros do you have Dexter in UK ?

had a look on Google and only found "messenger type" bags??? any pics of your tool bag ?

Thanks

check out your local BnQ Warehouse as their new range includes JCB bags ect n they loook quiet good quality There is also a special offer with the Dewalt boots £55 for pair of boots n a tool bag depends on who you go to if its a tote or a closed bag

been using the ck tech case and rucksack for ages but find that bits get lost etc, most of my work is service and faults on fire alarms so trusty terminal driver and meter does me, meter came in a handy size case that fits few basic tools in, then in back of van just bought one of the dewalt totes from b and q so far so good

CK do a wee "Essencials" clip roof for pliers couple of drivers and a fluke voltage indicator clips on to belt great for those wee "in Out" Jobs

i must look that up, thanks, just been looking at those veto pro pacs resisted the temptation to hit buy now for the time being lol

I use a CK T1634 bought on Amazon £26-99 inc VAT, it's just brilliant. After a lot of other boxes and bags tried over the years, I was always frustrated with my most used tools ending up at the bottom of the bag/box when I needed them. The chippy I work with said try a tote, so I did a bit research, the CK and the Stanley Fat Max versions I thought were the most robust, well made and reasonably priced. What swung the choice for me was the roll-up rain cover, ideal for our variable climate. I believe I've found the ideal method at last, it only took 30 years.

Ha! made I laugh.

did a rewire in Kidderminster last year (or maybe year before) and there was no site toilet ..... often popped to B&Q (at bottom of hill) for a doggy dump. Always a pleasure to leave them a small deposit.

I guess I am on of those fools..... I own 3 Veto Pro Pac's now and wouldn't dream of buying anything elese. In answer to why I paid so much for them, it is the same reason I use Hilti tools & Drive a german car..... Quality!! I cannot see the point of buying a cheaper bag with the option to replace when it goes wrong. Why not get rid of this throw away attitude and buy something that will most probably outlive 4 Stanley bags. Before buying a Veto I owned numerous bags which never lasted too long as I am quite rough with them.
I suppose you use Silverline powertools and throw them away when they break?

Fair comment eskimo, each to their own though i guess i do a lot of work with cabinet making / powder coated panels and i use nothing but festool, works for me but others disagree.. I like hilti, although after a costs cutting project by hilti in 2009 their products have been more and more assembled/sourced from asia and the quality is not so prominent with their modern equipment.

Never had a problem with them to be honest mate. I understand each to their own in terms of preference but I don't appreciate being called a fool because someone else deems a product overpriced etc. I never look down on someone for using cheap tools, the same way I would never call anyone a fool for spending a lot on their gear.
