Hi,
I'm trying to help my elderly dad who has a Unidare Storgae system with underfloor air circulation. The motor appears to have stopped working. Can anyone help. I'm in Winchester, Hampshire. Many thanks in advance.

These type of systems are so out of date, i'm surprised any are still in use now.
(unless there is a modern version I don't know about)

My parents had it in their council house 45 years ago, took it out and "improved" the heating with dimplex storage heaters. Has since been improved again with mains gas boiler and wet radiators.

Its highly likely that the motor has burned out. Getting a new one could be near impossible, but if you contact a local electrician, they might be able to source a new one. ( or repair the one you have)

I am unsure if any EF members are in your vicinity

Could be a lot of things, before you take the motor out check the capacitor. If it is in a small cupboard and you can’t get the sides off the motor is very difficult to remove.
Also there is a wire wound resistor that can burn out that controls the motor speed at the front.
Edit
I have a wiring diagram if required.
