No, because there is no physical connection between primary and secondary winding

But tutor saying center tapped

was not accepted

Not so much as there is no connection between primary and secondary because that is the purpose of an isolating transformer but it is partly the reason. What is missing from the secondary that is present on the primary, think fault path.
Centre tapped is not reason and a transformer for a shaver socket is not centre tapped.
