Hi all just wanted get a few opinions customer has brought some downlights off Ebay he ordered 240v but on the box it states 12v opened them up an it looks like they have being converted from 12v to 240v the customer has emailed the guy of ebay and he states "Hi they are both the nanufacturer provides us with the fitting and 2 lampholders depending on the purchase we include the correct lead. The lampholder denotes the voltage the fitting isms always the same"
Just wondering if any others had come across this before and what was the outcome fit them, refuse fit them, or make a note on the cert that they have being modified....Opinions please

Ive bought 12v fittings and 240v which have been the same with the exception of the obvious fitting from screwfix, However there were clearly boxed up etc 12v had the relevant paperwork and the 240v . What does the destructions say that are in the packet?
