If you're a qualified, trainee, or retired electrician - Which country is it that your work will be / is / was aimed at?
United Kingdom
What type of forum member are you?
Practising Electrician (Qualified - Domestic or Commercial etc)
Is there a form out to say that all remedial work has been carried out after an EICR?

The certs for the work ?
You could write a dated note on the eicr referencing the certs or even devise your own form.

no , any remedial work is on the EICR sheets customer to take note .or above what ANDY says .what I do
is when quote for the job what numbers C1 C2 C3. that need doing .

If I've done the original EICR, and the remedial works, I will usually issue a revised EICR (with a different reference number, and added date(s), to the original) with the certification - this is very easy for me to do, and just makes things simpler for everyone.

If I'm doing remedial work for an EICR done by others, I make a statement on the invoice (or covering email) stating that the works done rectify the (specific, referenced) observations on the EICR "done by others" (include their reference number)... as well as relevant certs done for the work, obviously.

You should issue an EIC or MWC as appropriate for the work carried out.

EICRs should not be re-issued as a means of certifying remedial work.

Not sure if this was aimed at me, or a general comment... either way, I agree with you :)

If I'm doing remedial works for an EICR I have carried out, I issue an EIC or an MEIWC as appropriate for the work carried out.

I also issue a revised EICR. It is a new EICR (with its own unique reference number), but much of it - covering parts of the installation not affected by the remedial works - will be the same as the earlier EICR. In doing the remedial work, and in issuing the appropriate certificate, I will have inspected and tested those aspects of the installation relevant to the work. Where these test results and/or observations during inspection have changed, I change the relevant bits of the EICR accordingly. In Section B, for "Date(s) on which inspection and testing was carried out," I include the original date of the earlier EICR, and the date I did the remedial works (and did inspection and testing of those aspects of the installation).
