Hello All

Thanks for having me

Just joined to try and get some some advice and guidance if possible. I am originally a mechy apprentice (last 18 years) and have been working as Instrumentation and Control field engineer for the last 6 years (HNC/HND). I work mainly control systems, instrumentation and do some associated electrical installation work. My electrical quals are all pretty minimal outside of Compex EX 01-04 and a few other minor certs.

Any recommendations on electrical qualifications to progress electrically? I have seen 2365-02 and 03 as pre requisites to NVQ level 3.

Any help greatly appreciated as well as any accompanying grief for being a mechy on an electrical forum.

Cheers all, will have a look around

Oh, and welcome in from someone who was also from the greasy side - toolmaker in a previous life.
