Discuss How do you "pair" a Zappi and a Solar/Battery system? in the Green Energy Forums | Green Energy Hub area at ElectriciansForums.net

Hi,
I have a Zappi charge point, and a myenergi Hub. I also have a battery/solar system. How do i "pair" these together? Or dont i need to do anything?
I've come here looking for the same advice (wanting to install battery storage). The MyEnergi forum on Tapatalk looks like it might be another place to look.

You'll want to utilise CTs that come with the Zappi, believe it only comes with 1 but you can purchase additionals. Simple install on that supply side of your main incomer and on the supply side of that PV system thtn configure either on thier app or via the setup menus in that Zappi itself.

To pair the hub to the charger you need to first plug the hub into your internet router, wait for the light to show its talking to the server, then press pair, go to charger, go to menus > advanced > enter passcode (if unchanged its oooo) > linked devices >pairing mode (ensure charger is in master mode and not slave) the hub should appear. select it, the charger then counts down, when done it will show as a linked device.
In the app you then need to register the hub, you will need the hub reg code which is found in the information menu, on second screen (scroll down) usually 4 digits/letters a hyphen then another 4 digits/letters,

That is it. a lot easier than I explained it!

To link solar, battery etc then you cna either hard wire these via CT clamps using a cat5e cable to the connections in the charger and you go into advanced > CT Config > select the CT and then select an option such as Grid, generation for solar, storage for battery. - make sure the arrow on the ct clamp follows the direction the current would flow.

If using a Harvi to connect the cts wirelessly to charger then you add the harvi as above for the hub minus plugging into router/ hub reg code. the Harvi Cts are then configured in the linked devices menu.

this link is the guide https://myenergi.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Zappi-2-Full-Manual-V1_6_2.pdf
