Immersun type device for 6kw immersion?

For a sports pavilion with an 8kw PV array. Anyone know of an Immersun or equivalent that can be used on a 6kw immersion. So far max I've seen is for 3kw. Thanks!

You might have to use the immersun and a relay to do that.

I reckon its worth speaking to Anthony Wooldridge if you can't find anything off the shelf, we used his units before immersun hit the market and i seem to recall he could custom build them to your spec.

You can easily dasiy chain two Immersuns to do it - they are actually designed that way, using a single CT clamp... They'll do it straight of the box Just configure them when you fire them up

Aha - is it a single 6kw?

You could always put in a three phase 9kW immersion (it's three 3kW immersions in one unit) and then use the facility above.

Single 6kw unit. Just been put in on a new build, not by us, so would prefer not to change it.

Have you looked to see if it is a three phase unit wired as a single phase? - If so that would give you 2 x 2kw anyway.
