Hi,
Installing a 4kW system on a new build Eco home, dno been out and fitted an import export meter, customer reckons he will export more than 50% back out onto the grid.

What's the deal with this? He wants to go with SSE as his fits provider.

Help:)

When they came to fit the new connection they offered him the import/export meter, kind of included in the £1300 he had to pay to get electricity into the property. I'm not sure if he needs another MPAN for the export or not
