Replacing some old Tenby switches. The upstairs landing and hall are 2 way 2 gang with 6 terminals. The switch has the old thin switches with arched top and they aren't labelled on the back. It looks like COM L1 L2 on each side. Anyone have much experience with this type of switch?

There will be a diagonal line across the back of the switch. That is the dividing line between the two halves. It forms two triangles the two points on the base being L1 & L2 the apex is C

Or try getting your test set on it.

This problem can be easily rectified by removing the switch and testing across the switch, with a continuity tester. Shouldn't take too long, using this method...
