So, i am not 18th edition or part P, this is my aspiration to become an electrician. I am 44 and working towards a career change. Looking at being employed rather than going it alone to begin with. What are the best or needed courses to be a domestic electrician? Any help or guidance would be great thank you

if you want to be employed rather than self-employed, you will find that employers mostly require you to be fully qualified with a JIB card. you won't get this from any of the short courses. you would need to commit to 5 years college and work experience to attain this. you could however maybe get agency work.
