Usual Select ----.
Dont waste your cash.
Do the proper c n g courses with nationwide recognisable numbers.
IE if you say 2391 or 2382 etc people know what you are on about without even having c n g in front.........Select????????? Whats that mate?

Boydy

Boydy's got it in a nutshell.

There are only 2 awarding bodies that i am aware of that give accredited certificates for passing any of the short Electrical courses. They are City and Guilds, and EAL. I deal with both of these organisations, and teach and deliver, 2382 17th edition, 2377 Pat testing, 2394 Initial Verification and 2395 Periodic insp and test. Irrespective of the awarding body, the course content and assessments are identical, as are the centre approval to run the courses. If someone has an EAL 17th edition or a C&G 17th edition, there is no difference, except in the eye's of the pen pushing HR people, C&G is badge engineering, just like NICEIC vs Napit/Elecsa, etc etc.

Cheers…………..Howard
