Hi Mate, Any one of you can explaine, why when I installed new socket(BG Integrated RCD protected), it works with car charger and not working with lawn mover. Some other issue is that when car charger not working when connected with extension but it works good with lawn mover.
Thanks
Mano

I don't know if you will agree with me SBO, but in answer to your valid question, personally I blame the influx of badly trained people who think they can change their career or start up a business as an Electrician after completing short intensive courses, or if you like the onset of the Part P fiasco, tin hat on.
I couldn't agree more Pete. Now, I am not saying that some people could not make a transition, or get trained up from another trade or role, if they have a degree of practical skills and the determination to progress down a proper path. And I know it is not easy, and there probably is a shortage of companies or people who would take on a more mature trainee, but with determination it can be done. My brother in law literally does not know which end of a screwdriver to hold and the thought of him doing one of these courses and then trying to pass himself off as an electrician makes my eyes water, but I am sure there are people like him who do it, you only have to look at some of the pathetic questions seen on here from time to time. How they manage to get through the day I don't know, I guess they just don't give a ----. At the end of the day what cheeses me off is the likes of this guy masquerading as an electrician and offering his services to unsuspecting customers when he patently does not have a clue what he is about. But unfortunately, this seems to be par for the course these days, the country seems to be full of and run by far too many people who really don't have much of a clue what they are doing. Oh well whats on telly tonight?

Agree Mate there are of course some very good trades people coming from the short course world, but unfortunately not that many, there has been a skill shortage emanating from the Thatcher era, I remember a boss of mine saying something along the lines of if they don't start recruiting apprentices in all construction trades there will be a serious skill shortage, how right he was.

Yep. When we finally get round to building all these houses we need, I have no idea who the hell is going to actually do it. Worrying thing is, neither have the people in charge!

Wonder what the customer is thinking?? The mind boggles, how have we got into this state? Electrical solutions, man alive.......
Sorry Mano alive. Makes you wonder for how long.[/QUOTE.

Yes mate I’m alive and will be, don’t worry about my safety and my knowledge, I came this field with enough knowledge. My query was as I got information from my coustomer. my first language is not English so that’s why may you all confused.
Any way I found solution for my issue. Thanks for your help.

I don't think he's going to let us know what the problem was.

At a guess. I understand a few EV chargers do an EFLI check so if the extension lead had no cpc it would refuse to play. As for the lawn mower "not getting on" some of us like to think we are not getting on but we are still knackered.
