Hello

Does anybody know if 'I' in the equation relates to PSCC or PEFC.

GN3 seems to point to PEFC, but reg 543.1.3 seems to suggest PSCC.

Any ideas?

Thanks

It's PFC, Isquared is Uo/Zs, it's used to see if your CPC is large enough to carry the fault current

I would agree its PEFC as you will be working out the size of the earthing conductor so you need to how much current would flow in it not anything to do with another phase or nutural

It depends on the type of earthing system I = U0/zs where Zs = measured or designed or I can be measured as well in TN-S I = pefc.

For TNC-S I = pefc and also Pfc as both earth and neutral are combined at supply.
