Coming to the end of my 8202 course, by May it should be done (pending any retakes) and I'll be honest I'm feeling lost.
I've yet to secure any onsite experience, in the current climate I get why but even so. I know the 'market' if you will is oversaturated with guys that hold the same quals and more so I'll just have to plug on though.
Qual wise I know my next steps, it's just trying to save for them with a family of 3(+1 SWMBO) taking the majority of income (I'm limiting myself to 1 tool/book a month and 1 'sundry' purchase from wholesalers to build some supply of sundries; worse comes to it they get used at home.
Next few months I'm going to need to knuckle down and get feelers out and just hope someone takes pity ? I'm not above pity or charity as I know newbies are difficult enough to 'mould and make use of', so one with a mobility limiting disability won't be an attractive proposition but I'm going to try and flip it (positive PR for the company employing a person with disabilities ?)
18th & 2391 next on the cards, 2391 combined or single I'm not 100% sure yet, probably 2391-50 for IV as that (in theory) would be more useful, although current market is on EICRs so 2391-51 would be better and then you have 2391-52, your combined course, all of which require some level of prior experience
Onwards!
