Hundreds of pounds up for grabs with £125m Green Deal cash back offer - Department of Energy and Climate Change and here are the rates Green Deal Cashback for householders - Department of Energy and Climate Change I suppose it may offset some of the interest charges and it takes cavity wall from £650 down to £400 but I still can't work out how if you can't give it away now with £50 for installing it you're going to be able to sell it for £400. I hope I'm proved wrong.

Has GD changed then, i thought it was a loan paid for via the savings on the bills? This seems simpler to administer but not sure that the cash back is enough to encourage take up.

I can see it all now, all the housing associations using the cash to placate their tenants so they can upgrade their stock (lots of it ex council) to increase the value whilst getting the tenants to pay for it.

Sounds like a great deal, not just a green deal

go to energy trust website great course and great tutors I travel 2 hours just to go with them done a few course there now.
