Hi guys.
I had an inspection yesterday, where the lighting and sockets are in one circuit for each floor.
There are 3A fused spurs for the lights. I also need to replace the consumer unit with 18th edition one.
How would you code that? Any advice on the consumer unit would be appreciated.

I wouldn't Code it at all. What does the EICR state, is it possible to show it with personal details removed.

Lights that are off a 3A FCU are perfectly safe.

You might code it C3 due to the lights failing if the sockets are tripped out (division of circuits 314.1).

That is an old looking CU but @westward10 is the best person to ask!

Good question I initially thought Square D QOE but they are missing the indicator window and the rating is painted on the toggle, so not Square D.
Not a common brand that immediately hits me but could be Mitsubishi. The ON/OFFS look hand painted.
OP any info on the front off the open flap.

The other thing I'm wondering is what the "restricted" supply is, off-peak meter?

I would assume it is dual tariff but didn't notice the restricted wording.

Looks very much like crabtree c50 CU

Not a C50.

I thought it was the same as what’s dotted around that big test job I’m doing…. But they’re Dorman Smith…

Those are type 4, if they are flat around the toggle without the ridges then type 3🙃
Another thing, if they have some sort of addition to the terminal like a flat spring affair that is to increase their breaking capacity.
