Does anyone know if metal plasterboard back boxes are available anywhere and if so where, ...link please?? I've done a bit of searching on UK based wholesalers but haven't found anything as yet, they all seem to be based around plastic with cable only entries. I need around a couple of dozen 2 single gang 35mm metal back boxes with 20mm knockouts to accommodate SWA cable glands. ...It's a long story!! lol!!

Have you seen the click (scolmore) flameguard boxes? They are a metal plasterboard box with intumescent foam lining. You'd probably have to drill your own holes though. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1428625127.119159.jpg

Or you were able to get clip on wings for normal flush boxes once upon a time, I haven't seen them for a long time though.

Thanks for coming up with something like what i'm looking for. It looks as if they will need to use spaced individual boxes and carefully drill their own 20mm entries. At least it'll save one side of the existing finished plasterboard partition walls from having to be removed to accomodate a late revision...
