Well if it is of any use to any one on this forum I will update this thread as & when i have training there.

I'd booked what I suppose is a Electrical Trainee course there & have had my first day there today.

The journey begins:clap:

Pretty impressed with facility, knowledge of teacher seemed pretty sound.

Coffee was good, as were the sandwiches, tortilla wraps and (unknown) meatball things :dead:

Alot of information, in very short time.

Might of struggled if I hadn't of been swatting up for the past few months in my run-up to redundancy & I will be swatting up most nights too.

Bearing in mind that's only impression of one day, once the novelty wears off i may be a little more critical.

Well you are on this forum as well so that will help with your development.
Some of the guys on here are not fans of the 'Electrical Trainee' as you've probably noticed but it's an excellent resource and they're invaluable.
I am currently planning on redeveloping the course you are doing - so keep me posted on how you are finding it.

:rolleyes4:

I can understand some of the criticism of the Electrical Trainee route, but IMHO at the end of the day it comes down to the individual.

I mean in my previous trade I was time-served and would see some disgusting work from time-served colleagues around me.

I'll keep you abreast of anything I feel is lacking, I may not be right but I'll voice it anyway even if its for my re-educations sake.
