Is TNS permitted on caravan site? I always thought you could use as TNS as supply cable then TT each pitch, spark I’m working with says you can use TNS all way through if ZS is acceptable
Thanks
Thanks
Thanks mate and yes I heard about them, we are just doing EICR I suppose there a good idea still seeing people driving off with them plugged in stillThe spark your working with is correct! Are you aware of the new interlock sockets required now on new pitch supplies as of jan 19?
You need to ensure PME conditions don’t apply.
Excuse me?
No essex was quoting spin on pme!
Yeah sorry - I was trying to point out that the OP was specifically asking about TNS.
Yes i answered to the OP in post 2
I know, and then it started going down the PME route!
Here we go.
Just because the supply to the installation is TN-S, doesn’t mean PME conditions do not apply.
It’s why BS7671 states “where PME conditions apply”, rather than saying “where the earthing system is TN-C-S”.
Yes ESQCR does prohibit the use of PME for Caravan pitches.
However it does not prohibit the use of PME for static Caravans or for other permanent structures on Caravan sites.
