Are we allowed to put a switch in the bathroom , provided it is out of the zone? ( I mean a wall plate switch , not a pull cord!)
 
As far as I'm aware you could always do this, aslong as its out of zone, which is why I've seen plenty of SFCU's for downflow heaters and towel radiators etc..
 
Common sense would tell me not to put a switch just to the side of a bath or shower though..
 
Any accessories in or out of zones must comply with the manufactures details. Just make sure that steam/condensation isn't a problem.
