Hi Guys I'm new to the forum and just wondered how hard it can be to become a spark.
Surely it is quite easy it's only a few wires and as long as you stick them in the right hole then Bob's your aunties husband.
I once watched the episode about electricity on Brainiac's if that helps.

Tbh i wouldn't even bother with training. Its all just a money making scheme. Just go and start twisting cables together and see what happens! Whats the worst that can happen right?

aim for your testing ASAP, then buy some data which has lots of older people on it. Call them up and offer a free testing and inspection visit. Scare them with your findings and get loads of work

Absolutely. The 3 week course is the way to go so you've got a thorough background understanding of electrical principals. There are those who cut corners and take the fast track rout with the 2 week course but realistically there's no way this kind of limited scope training is going to equip you with the a broad enough knowledge base to function autonomously in an industry. Please don't be afriad to invest in that extra week of training, it will pay off in the long run.

I think wallnut should do the 5th week of training and become an Industrial spark. It cost an extra £2000 but teaches how to do cable tray. Should be helpful?
