Each slate has been lifted, cut and put back. Funnily enough because there are so many different sizes if one of the bigger slates is damaged it's being used to infill smaller ones. Needless to say we've got an experienced roofer on the job!

Our first install was on similar roof to that. It was for a mate of mine, and as it was for my MCS inspection and I needed a first job, I agreed to do it for the price of the materials only.

What a nightmare! The slates were so brittle that you only had to put slight pressure on them and they cracked, and it took us about a week to do the work.

The day we completed that job I made the decision to always use a professional roofer to do the roofing work on our installs.
