has anyone started fitting new metal clad consumer units yet. if so what are you using to form the glands where the cables enter the boxes. They seem to be selling the boxes down here but there is not much else with them yet.

or are you still fitting insulated ones until jan 2016?

I've been fitting metal CU's since i was an apprentice. Grommets, grommet strip, bushes, paxolin plates etc have always been up to the job for me

Google 'Wylex or Crabtree' videos for 3A boards, some suggestions there. Wylex have a gland for tails 'EIU', or there's the Wiska Sprint Tail kit. Look at the bottom here, few threads on it already. Personally, if I had to do surface entry, I would use trunking with bushes or grommets, or the with Wylex CU, their pattress. Glands for circuit cables would look a bit busy, IMO.
