Or perhaps you could look into installing an EMMA instead of the thermal? Less spend than buying thermal too and will still get the hot water. Uses less roof space too, if that's an issue..
Have a look at SolarTwin (I think that's the name). There is a PV panel out there which runs water behind it to cool the panel whilst heating the water. They did a stand at EcoBuild if that helps. I was looking at installing these with SolarEdge which, I think, allows you to mix different solar PV panels in the same array
PVT in my opinion is a joke, 1 energy for 1 product, I think it would be unprofessional to talk about other companies that mix solar pv with water in a manor that is not always suited.
These are roof integrated panels. The thermal is in my opinion the very best on the market. It is a joy to install. Drainback system is simplicity itself. These are the only panels available with BBA approval as a building component. They also meet all the requirements of MCS012.
They do matching PV. As you can imagine, it is not the cheapest, but looks great.
