To be fair, he took the callout on the 'word' of the customer saying 'I've changed a socket and now it's not working'. Plus, the fella had left it 2 days (or probably more) before contacting a spark.
Personally though, I'd rather be at work than with the missus!!:smile5:

How is that being fair? Anyone who takes the word of a customer who has 'just' changed a socket is asking for a late night!
 
Spent ages today looking with a problem with some outside lights today, using a an extension lead to give us power due to no power at property, guess what plug top on the extension lead had a broken connection On the neutral so the lamp couldn't strike such a silly mistake spouse learn from mistakes (just coming out my time)

That's a beautiful ship.

There's a picture floating about on tinterweb of one sailing down the Tyne having just been built at the legendary Armstrong's Works and on its way to its sea trials.

I can't remember the name of it but it's a magnificent sight and always reminds me of Tidyboiler steaming down the aisles of Tesco with her shopping trolley.
