Situation DNO supply into garage outside meter box, submain into house approx 10M in concentric cable. Fused down by 80 swfcu . I dont know the size but it has 7 neutral strands and approx same cpc strands. Any thoughts on this.? Is it ok? I would have thought ok as same if not very similar to DNO use, just unsure where it relates to concentric in bs7671

Is it concentric or split concentric? If its concentric you have a problem as it will be CNE which is obviously a big no no.

I too have split concentric from meter to CU in my house. Nowt wrong with it if terminated well.
That said, I am probably going to swap it out for SWA when an opportunity arises.

Up to and including 16mm its 7 neutral stands, 25mm 11 neutral strands. Approx overall diameter 12.9mm for 10mm, 15.2 for 16mm. With regards to being buried in walls, floors or walls made of metal portioning should be treated the same as T&E where RCD protection is concerned. With CCC I've heard its similar to SWA but most data you find online will be for 90 degree not 70 degree. Probably best to ping an email to a few manufacturers or phone your scheme tech line and let them do the donkey work :)

Makes sense to treat it as t&e lee. The cable disapears down through dno box buried through garden then flies in through back of cu no gland in dno box either just floats into a sw fuse! Very poor but hesitant to make a big deal of it to this new customer as may come accross wrong! But deffo poor install

Yes, unfortunately the standard that applies to split concentric cable, is not one that allows it to be used to comply with 522.6.101 (I).
