Is this correct. We have removed a 2KW air extraction fan today to relocate. L1L2L3 connected to U1V1W1 but their wasn't any links fitted to make either star or delta.

There's no plate attached anywhere either.

How come, always thought the links had to be fitted to make star or delta for the motor to run. My so called experienced leader didn't have an answer for me, so will probably end up fitting it back as was, but would like to know if its correct or not.

Many Thanks in advance

maybe linked internally so it can't be altered from star to delta or vice versa

The links are there to allow moters to be wired in either star or delta.
Perhaps as the motor is so small, it is intended for it to only be used in delta, perhaps the system uses a variable speed controller?

YES!!!!!

Thank the lord!!!!

Guess what? It ran just like it did before, so as my OP asked was regards the linking of terminals, then they were obviously linked internally.

Thanks to those advising of this
